In any Indian gathering, it is unheard of to give guests just one dish. Thus, to have a proper Indian party, you need a feast.

If, however, you’re short on hands, stamina, or hours in the day, then following just one of these recipes will result in delicious Indian/ Indian-inspired food that you’ll be proud to present to your guests (and your own stomach).


Apple, Mint and Chilli Chutney

This is a chutney that refreshes and heats in the same mouthful.

3 green ingredients – mint, apple, and chilli – make this vibrant chutney. Enhanced by lemon and balanced by sugar, the addiction of this dish comes from your mouth filling with the fizzing fresh punch of tart apples, followed by a whack of heat from the chillies.

Butter Chicken

Mellow, comforting, and luxurious. This butter chicken packs a huge flavour through delicately balancing chilli and spices with almonds and cream. Who says butter chicken is boring?

Kada Prasad

Soft, sweet and full of butter. Made by Indian mothers when their child is feeling poorly, the nutty brown butter lingering around the edges of the bowl, lips and throat will sooth all coughs, colds and ailments.

Vegan Kheer (Cardamom Rice Pudding)

The oat milk compliments the cardamom and vanilla flavours beautifully to make a delicious vegan pudding that packs a mountain of flavour that is just as creamy and comforting as the traditional rice puddings.
